D600 vs D300 Quick ISO comparison

D300 ISO 800 12MP
D600 ISO 4000 24MP

Low light shooting was a bit limiting with the D300 where I would use a maximum of ISO 800. It appears as though with the D600 I can use settings of ISO 4000 or maybe higher. It appears I had some focus issue with the D300 also as I did focus on the same spot on both shots using live view and zoomed in. 1:1 crops below.  ACR 7.2 default settings used.
